This year’s Christmas cards

Posted on

Sometime last week, we all sat down at the table and started making Christmas cards.  We pulled out every last possible crafting tool and material we could think of, laid it out in the kitchen, and then got to work.  Even Daughter made several cards, with a little supervision.  Of course, you can imagine what the looked like afterwards.  In fact, Husband took a picture of it so that you won’t have to imagine it…  (See the almost empty plate of coconut macaroons?)

After we cleaned up the debris, we were actually able to see what we created, and we were quite pleased.

The view from one side…

… and then the other.

When all was said and done, we have some nice cards to choose from, and we had a great time laughing and working together as a family.  Sure, it may sound a bit Pollyanna, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that…
